Ah, creative blocks, we couldn't live without them. Well, yes we could. I mean, we'd probably lead a much happier life without them, and that, my friends, is exactly why I am creating this post. Sit back, relax, and enjoy 5 ways to destroy a creative block.
1. Read a book

Reading, though it may sound simple, really works! Sitting down with a nice book not only relaxes your mind, but also gives it inspiration. Whether your looking for writing inspiration or art inspiration, or any inspiration really, it can all be found between the pages of a book. Oh, and don't think that getting inspiration from a book is copying or plagiarism, tons of your favourite stories and art pieces were inspired by another creative mind.
2. Go for a walk

Go for a walk, get inspired! Whether you're going through the trails of a beautiful forest or down the sidewalk of a busy city, this is a story waiting to be told. The amount of gorgeous paintings of swaying trees I see is uncountable, so why don't you make one that'll stand out! You know, many books all started with a walk as well. If you go to Scotland and England, you will find names on gravestones and see beautiful castles that resemble those in Harry Potter. And do you know where that was written? Scotland! J.K Rowling went on walks and there found some of the most important details in one of the biggest books today.
3. Tell a personal story

Tell us a personal story, all about you. Ever had that crazy thing that happened at a party that one time? Or that one time you fell on your face in public? Get creative with it! You don't have to show anyone, this will just get you in the mood for what ever you're doing. Writers, write it down, and artists draw something that symbolizes the way you felt. It doesn't have to be great, it just gets the wheels turning!
4. Listen to music

Listen to your favourite music. While you're doing this, write down or draw your thoughts. Kind of like the previous point, it doesn't have to be good, this just helps get the wheels turning and the creativity flowing. This one doesn't work for all people, especially writers, it can make it hard to focus sometimes. On this one, I would mostly recommend to artists. You get to just free your feelings through art while not thinking about it, it's also quite therapeutic.
5. Stay off your electronics

Looking at a screen will not help you any, while unless your on it to read something creative, listen to music, or look at some inspiration or something. My point is, playing video games isn't going to give you a creative flow, neither is texting, its just not, my advice to you is answer the question of the day, subscribe, and then get out of here! Follow one (or all if you really want to) of these suggestions and let the new ideas pour out!
